  • Under 16’s
    Our under 16 team take on Gortletteragh in round 2 of the league at 7pm this Friday in Gortletteragh. All players and parents please take note.
  • Engagement
    Best wishes and congratulations to club players Shane Foley and Miranda Burke who announced their engagement last week while on holiday abroad.
  • Marriage
    Congratulations to club player John McGovern and Noeleen McGourty, Ballinaglera who tied the knot in St Hugh’s Church, Ballinaglera on Saturday last. We wish the happy couple many years of happiness together.
  • 18th Birthday
    Happy 18th Birthday to club player Aidan Gilmartin who celebrated his 18th Birthday at the weekend with his family and friends.
  • Fixtures
    The division 3 team play Bornacoola this Saturday evening in Kiltubrid at 7pm while on Sunday our division 5 team travel to Kilasnett to play St Osnats at 2.30pm. Please support if you can.
  • La na gClub
    A very enjoyable day was had by all who attended La na gClub on Sunday last at the park. Various football and hurling drills were held for every age group, followed by sports events such as the sack race, three-legged race, wheelbarrow race etc. The day finished off with the presentation of the underage award winners for 2009. Congratulations to Anthony Murray who received the minor player of the year, to John Morris who received the under 16 award and to Eoin Dolan who got under 14 player of the year. We thank all the parents and players who took the time to attend the day. We also thank all the players and trainers who helped out on the day with the various events. Well done to all concerned.
  • Vhi GAA Cul Camps
    Application forms for this year’s Vhi GAA Cúl Camps will be distributed to all schools and clubs this week. All details and an online booking system are also available from www.leitrimgaa.ie or www.gaa.ie. Just click on the Vhi GAA Cúl Camp link. There will be twelve camps at regional venues throughout the county and we ask all young club members to attend the camps.
