- Bike Week
Bike Week takes place this week, running from 13th - 20th June. In
conjunction with Leitrim Sports Partnership, Kiltubrid GAA Club are
holding a Family Fun and Sports Day 'Cycling is Fun' on Saturday 19th
June. (Please note the change of date from previously advertised). This
will run from 10am to 12pm are we are encouraging both parents and
children to cycle to the event that day, for those who cant we would
encourage all to bring along their bicycles and all ages from pre school
with their tricycles to seniors are welcome to come along for some fun
on the day and we hope to have a category to suit all ages. We will be
running cycling trials, cycling races, obstacle courses and a prize for
the best decorated bike on the day so please keep this date free in your
diary. We encourage all players both ladies and men to cycle to
training if possible during bike week. All information on events around
the country are available on the official bike week website

- Club Merchandise
A range of club merchandise will be on sale next Saturday morning at the
park between 10am and 12pm during our cycling event. Merchandise such
as jackets, jerseys, polo shirts, car air fresheners etc will be on sale
or available for ordering during these times. This is your last chance
to put in an order for items so please come along during these times.

- Presidents Visit
On Tuesday 9th June, the GAA President Christy Cooney paid a visit to
our club grounds and parish. The president took the time to meet the
trainers and children who were training on the pitch that evening. An
informative questions and answers forum with various members from the
club followed in Drumcong school. We say thank you to the president for
choosing to visit our club, an event which will be remembered by all
who attended. Photos from the visit are available to view on the club’s

- Well done Ladies!
We send congratulations to our Senior Ladies 9 aside team and management
on their wonderful win over Aughawillan on Friday evening last. It was a
great performance by the entire panel and an exciting game watched by
all who supported. Final score ended Kiltubrid 2-9 Aughawillan 0-6.

- Results/Fixtures
Our seniors had wins over Aughnasheelin and Carrigallen in the shield
competition last week. Next up is Aughawillan this Saturday evening at
7pm in Kiltubrid. *** On Friday, our division 3 games fixed against Sean O’Heslins in Ballinamore at 8.30pm has been cancelled. ***

- Under 16’s
The under 16’s take on Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher in the 9 aside competition at 7pm this Friday evening in Kiltubrid.

- Guess the Score
Players, club members and premises in our parish are currently selling
lines to predict the result in the upcoming Leitrim v Roscommon
Championship Game. The prize on offer is a one night break in Moran's
Hotel, Dublin. Please support by guessing your score! All of those who
are selling cards are reminded to have all completed cards returned to
Teresa Keaney, Anne McNabola or any committee member by Saturday
evening. For obvious reasons, score cards will not be accepted after the
game!

- Good Luck Leitrim
We send good luck wishes to both Leitrim Ladies and Leitrim Men’s teams
who are playing in Connacht Championship this weekend. Our club will be
represented by Aine Tighe and Shane Foley who will no doubt, do us proud
on the day. Good luck to all concerned.

- Ticket Information
Tickets for the Leitrim games will be on sale at the club dressing rooms
this Wednesday and Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Tickets are
also on sale on Wednesday in Supervalu, Ballinamore from 4.30pm to
7.30pm.
