  • Under 8 & Under 10 Football Coaching
Coaching for boys and girls of this age group restarts this Saturday morning March 20th from 10 to 11 am. We ask parents to make sure that all children are properly dressed to suit the weather conditions on the morning. For those that haven’t already paid their membership, please note that the annual membership and insurance cost for all children that participate is 20 euro.
  • Park Lighting
The official turning on of our lights took place last Saturday night with a large crowd in attendance. The switching on was performed by our county team representative Shane Foley. Our chairman Dermot Heeran made the opening speech on the night. We wish to thank Joe Flynn and Seamus Prior Connaught Council, the County Board, Musco Lighting, PJ Meehan and everyone on the Park Committee, National Lottery, Stephen Garvey and to everyone who sold tickets and all who supported us in our fundraising draw last year to raise the vital funds for the lighting. We thank everyone who helped out getting the pitch ready for the night, to our stewards, Mick Maye and the Gardai, to the Ladies team and to all who came along and supported us on the night, a big thank you. Sadly, on the pitch a win wasn’t to be on the night for our Senior team as the visitors Annaduff moved up a gear in the second half to seal a comfortable win.
  • Jerseys
We are currently looking for volunteers for washing the sets of jerseys each week. This will be done on a rota basis so anyone interested in volunteering could contact chairman Dermot Heeran 0872286602. You help with this small duty would be gratefully appreciated.
  • Membership
Final reminder to parents, players and supporters that membership must be paid up before 31st March or they will be removed off the text service.
  • SCOR
Our ballad group and novelty act participated in the Senior SCOR finals on Saturday night last. Despite getting no silverware, the two acts did our club proud with their performances on the night. We thank each one of you for all your hard work and effort over the past few weeks, preparing for the event and representing the club. We look forward to seeing you back again next year. Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday night to the Canon Donohue Hall in Mohill to show their support for the participants.
