Club Meeting
The first club meeting of 2012 was held on Wednesday night last, it was a
very successful and well attended meeting. Congratulations to PJ Meehan who
was elected Chairman and Dermot Heeran as Vice Chairman . Please note the
date of the next club meeting will be on 17th February at 8pm at the park
and we would be delighted to see new people coming along to help out or
with any new ideas.

FBD League
Congratulations o the Leitrim Senior team on their nice win over neighbours
Roscommon last weekend, a good start to the new year!

Birthday Boys
We would like to wish both Barra Mc Kiernan and James Cardiff very happy
birthdays coming up shortly, their combined ages are about 85 so you’ll
have to work it out for yourselves who’s 21!

GAA Scholarship
Application forms for Gaeltacht Scholarships being offered by Leitrim Co
Board GAA are now available on the Leitrim GAA website. They can be found
on the left hand side under “Scór”, then “ GApplication foaeltacht
Scholarships”. Completed forms must be returned to, Seán O Suilleabháin,
Achadh Dearca, Béal an Átha Móir, Co Liatroma before Saturday 28  January
2012.  Anyone who received a Gaeltacht scholarship from Coiste Chontae
Liatroma in previous years is not eligible to apply again and this
scholarship scheme is open to registered and paid-up club members only,
boys and girls. Successful candidates make there own arrangements to attend
a college of their choice. There will be twelve scholarships in all.

Foundation Level Coaching Courses
Would anyone else who has indicated that the wish to complete the
foundation coaching course please take note that the remaining courses for
2012 will be run in the following venues & dates.  Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada
on Friday 20th  & Saturday 21st January or Drumkeerin on Monday 6th  &
Tuesday 7th Feb. The second part of this course is the Child Welfare &
Protection course which are being run in the following venues & dates;
Allen Gaels GAA centre on Wednesday 18th Jan  Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada on
Thursday 2nd or Dumkeerin on Wednesday 15th February.  Please contact Club
Coaching Officer, Damien McWeeney, on  087 6804501 to book your place as
soon as possible.

Leitrim Supporters Club
The Leitrim GAA Supporters (Dublin Branch) invites you to attend the
Leitrim Supporters Club 26th Anniversary Launch on Thursday 19th January
2012 at 8.00 pm in the Herbert Park Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin.

Membership 2012
The annual club membership registration night for all players, underage
boys & club members for 2012 takes place in the dressing rooms on Friday
night Dec 20th next from 8 to 9pm.If you are unable to attend please
contact Club Registrar Finbarr Keaney on 086-8196535 beforehand. Membership
rates for 2012 are €30.00 per year for adults & €20.00 per year for all
underage boys teams.
