Two Tribes
When two tribes go to war it's usually about land, religion, someone stealing a bull or maybe a sheep. Not around here. Here there is no middle ground! A highlander is a noble chieftain, a battle hardened marauder with his skills well honed in close hand to hand combat, the type to defend his high lands with great pride. A lowlander is a more elusive warrior, more inclined to rely on his speed of movement, skill and wits. Gorilla warfare is more his forte. An epic encounter awaits. St. Stephen's Day, December 26th. Kiltubrid GAA pitch. 12.30pm. Don't miss it. Admission to the match is optional with all donations going to Kiltubrid Active Age and Drumcong NS.
