Congratulations to Ricky O Donnell on the celebration of his 60th birthday on Friday night last, also well done to all of those who was at the party and still managed to climb Sheemore the next morning St Patricks Day for which the proceeds went to the Hospice.

Congratulations to Linda Tighe and Rory in the UK on the birth of their beautiful new daughter, well done and best wishes from all in the club.

U6, U8 and U10 Football
Coaching for all players up to age 10 will commence on Saturday 24th March at 10am and will continue every Saturday morning from 10 to 11am sharp. Registration will be collected on the day if not already paid. The fee is €20 per child for the year. This will cover the child under the Player Injury Scheme. We wish to provide an adequate level of supervision at the training sessions and this will be done by a rota of parents / guardians. You will be given a copy of this at the training. In order to ensure the efficient running of the training session it would be appreciated if all children had their football boots on and tied on arrival at the pitch. We thank you for your co-operation with this.
Congratulations to local man Gerry Mc Cormack who raised a staggering amount of money for Haiti by hanging out in a box over the river shannon for the St Patricks  weekend. It was a huge achievement for a very worthwhile cause, well done Gerry and to all those who helped make the event such a success. Brian Meehan looked on remembering his time in the box a few years ago when he raised money for people in need. Both men are to be admired and for anyone who wasant in Carrick at the weekend you can still make your donations directly to Gerry.

Club Meeting
Our next Club Meeting takes place on Thursday night 22nd March at 9pm at the pitch and all are welcome.
