Reeling them in and Wheeling them out .......
Kiltubrid GAA are holding a monster sporting event on Saturday 29th October (Bank Holiday Weekend). The Parish will be broken up into teams of Keshcarrigan, Kilclare, Drumcong and the Mountain. Each area will have 2 teams, and the main purpose of this event is to invite all past players back to participate and have a fun game with a difference under lights at the pitch. Each team will have to be made up the following; a captain, an OAP, a blow-in, a blonde, former and a current male and female players, a bar man, a celebrity, a legend and a few other novelty acts so basically everyone in the parish can take part. We want to stress that there is no way we will be able to contact everybody individually so please accept this as an invite to all to come along and take part. If there is anyone in your family that is away and that might be around that weekend and are interested in taking part please contact Dermot, Patricia, Anne or Teresa. To all our current male and female players please contact us if you want to take part and we will make sure you have a great bit of craic on the night. Each participant will get to play a match under lights, however for health and safety reasons each half will only be about 7 minutes. We will give you more details of the event itself next week.
