  • Bike Week
Bike Day took place on Saturday 19th June and the road to Kiltubrid pitch was lined with cyclists and bikes of all shapes and sizes. It was a very enjoyable day and we would like to thank all who took part in all of the events and joined in the fun. A special word of thanks to Garda Mick Maye for his talk on bike safety, to Councillor Francie Gilmartin who was spotted peddling down the road to take part in the event and to Gerard and Damien Lynch for their bicycle repair workshop. Thanks also to all the people who helped organise the event and to the children who took part in the best decorated bike competition. The winners of this category were Darragh Lee, Eadaoin Lee, Tara Keaney and TJ Mc Govern. James Gill was to be a contender in this category but due to an unfortunate puncture on the way to the pitch that morning it caused him to be eliminated!
  • Table Quiz
Kiltubrid GAA are holding a Table Quiz in Mc Keons Pub Keshcarrigan on Friday 9th July. Like anything else we organise this is promised to be a table quiz with a difference. While knowlege or a high IQ is not necessary to participate in the table quiz, a sense of humour is essential! Entries to the table quiz is €5 per person and there is no limit to the amount of people you can have on your team. More details next week.
  • Guess the Score Competition
Thanks to all to supported our guess the score competition and to all who sold cards, While we had a huge amount of participants nobody got the actual score correct, so we put all the names into a hat and pulled out a winner who was Eithne Meehan, Sligo. Congratulations and well done to Eithne who wins one night B&B in the 4* Crown Moran Hotel in Dublin.
