Cash for Clobber
Kiltubrid GAA are having a clothing recycling collection on Saturday 5th March between 10.00am and 5.00pm at the football pitch. There will be a sign as to where to leave the bags. Anyone who is having a clear out, can recycle their old clothes, bags, shoes, hats, belts, towels, curtains and bed linen. Books can also be recycled (no old phonebooks please) as long as they are put in a separate bags. We would appreciate anyone with stuff they want to get rid of to take this opportunity to do so and support this collection as the funds raised from this will go towards our football club.

The Kiltubrid International Talent Show
Kiltubrid GAA are holding their first ever Talent Show in the coming weeks. So for anyone who can sing, dance, recite, tell jokes or basically do anything that they think would entertain people, then please start practising. Each of our local publicans will be holding a heat and the two acts that gets the most votes on each night will go forward to a final for which there will be a cash prize. Participants can take part in solo acts, families, groups and can participate on more than one night if they fail to qualify initially. Publicans will need to know in advance of how many acts they have.  So please dont be shy, if you are not approached and you feel that you have something entertaining to do contact the pub of your choice in our parish. More details including the nights for the heats will be announced in next weeks paper.
