Club Calendar
Dont forget to get your copy of the club calendar for 2011 which are selling fast in local outlets in the parish. Priced at just 10 euro, perhaps these would make a nice christmas present for your relatives abroad!
Scor na nOg
Good luck to all participants taking part in Scor na nOg this Saturday in St Mary's Hall, Carrick at 5pm. Please support, as a good evening's entertainment is guaranteed! Scor Sinsear will be taking place also in the coming weeks, if there is anyone out there who wishes to take part in any of the acts, please contact co-ordinator Imelda McWeeney 0719640912.
Our AGM took place on Sunday 21st November in Drumcong National School. Elected Officers for the coming year were: Chairman Dermot Heeran, Secretary Patricia Lee, Assistant Secretary Liam O'Brien, Treasurers Teresa Keaney and Anne McNabola, Assistant Treasurer John Flynn, Park Committee Chairman Derek Foley, Youth Officer/School Liason Offier Micheal McKiernan, Scor Coordinator Imelda McWeeney, Alcohol and  Substance Abuse Officer Martina Gilmartin, IT Officer Eoin Meehan, Registrar Michael James McKiernan and Insurance Officer PJ Meehan. We wish all officers well in their roles for the year ahead.
It's that time of the year again when membership is due. The fee for 2011 is the same as last year which is 30 euro for adults and  20 euro for children. Remember its not only players that can become members, membership is open to supporters, parents and anyone who has an interest in the club. Please show your support by becoming a member and getting your hands on a 2011 Car Sticker. You can contact registrar Michael James McKiernan who will be accepting all monies for membership.

All those involved in raising money for (S.H.O.U.T) would like to say a big Thank You for the huge effort and support received. The money raised (€6,139) exceeded everybody's expectations. The charity night held in Gerties was a huge success with the help of many people. Thank you to Bernie O'Donnell and Grainne Gill for accepting the cheque presented by the Dublin City Marathon runners! Thank You to Alan Clarke and Niall Mc Gowan for music on the night. Also Thank You to  the following businesses who generously donated spot prizes on the night: Karl Scollan (Gala Drumshanbo), Reynolds Butchers, €20 (Anon), Village Shop Keshcarrigan, N.W.T.H Kilclare, Mulvey's Gift Shop Carrick on Shannon, Boots Chemist Carrick on Shannon, Kiernan's Chemist Carrick on Shannon, Helen Mc Loughlin - Beauty Salon, Nicola Kelly - Hair Salon, Brian Kerrigan.
