Ard na Speire
We hope everyone in the parish is out training, whether you walk, run
or crawl for the Ard Na Speire 10km and 4km Run/Walk in memory of the
late Sandra Earley on Sunday 24th February at Kilclare at 2pm. Entry
fee €10.00. For those of you who are not feeling energetic volunteers
for stewards/helpers are also needed. Proceeds of this will go to
Heart House which is a family heart screening clinic for families who
have lost loved ones to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. Please encourage
everyone you know, family members, neighbours, friends, work
colleagues to come along on the day and to support or to help out in
this very worthy cause.

Underage Mouth-guards
Pleases note that as of January 1st 2013 mouth-guards are compulsory
for all underage players from under 6 to under 18.   All players must
bring and wear their mouth-guard at all training sessions & matches.
Mouth-guards must be worn for the duration of the game or training
session.  Where an underage player comes to a match or training
session without their mouth-guard they cannot be allowed to
participate at any time during the game or session. You can get more
information on the type of mouth guards approved by the GAA from your
underage coach or club official. Suitable mouth-guards are widely
available in all the local sports shops. However the club do not
recommend any particular range or style.  This is a matter of
preference for each player or parent.
