Underage Mouth-guards Pleases note that as of January 1st 2013 mouth-guards are compulsory for all underage players from under 6 to under 18. All players must bring and wear their mouth-guard at all training sessions & matches. Mouth-guards must be worn for the duration of the game or training session. Where an underage player comes to a match or training session without their mouth-guard they cannot be allowed to participate at any time during the game or session. You can get more information on the type of mouth guards approved by the GAA from your underage coach or club official. Suitable mouth-guards are widely available in all the local sports shops. However the club do not recommend any particular range or style. This is a matter of preference for each player or parent. |
