Leitrim Primary Schools Track and Field
Well done to the pupils from Drumcong National School who took part in this event in Manorhamilton last Sunday. They were Claire, Danny, Barry and Orla Mc Weeney, Iarlaith and Fionn O Brien, Eadaoin and Darragh Lee, Francesca Hoare and Chantelle Gilmartin. Fionn, Orla and Eadaoin were among the medal winners on the day. Well done to all.
Under 14s
The Under 14 league final takes place on Wednesday at 6.30pm in Pairc Sean. Please try to attend and support our young players of the future.
Under 16s
Under 16's play Melvin Gaels this Friday at 6.30pm in Kinlough.
Congratulations and best wishes to Gerry and Pauline Winters, Drumcong on the birth of their little baby boy Ben last week.
The club send congratulations and best wishes to club player Richard Mahon and well know Cloone ladies star Teresa Mylott who tied the knot on Friday last. We wish you both a long and happy future together.
Underage Training
The next round of U8 and U10 Blitz's will take place at the pitch on Saturday next 14th May @ 10am. St. Marys will be our opposition this time round. It is important that as many children as possible attend on the day. Training will continue on Saturday as normal for the under 6's from 10am to 11am. New players always welcome.
The club extends their sympathies to the McCormack Family, Mahanagh, Drumshanbo on the death of their sister Marian McCormack, aunt of club players Michael and Brian. May she rest in peace.
Happy Birthday
We say a big happy birthday to Jack Lee who celebrated his 80th birthday on 7th May. Jack celebrated the occasion with family and friends at a party last week.
Our seniors had a good win over Cloone on Sunday in the sheild competition, final score ended Kiltubrid 1-10 Cloon 0-6. Next up is St Marys in round 2 of the competition this Saturday at 6.30pm in Kiltubrid. On Sunday, our division 5 team play away to Fenagh. Please check confirmation of time of this game. The Senior Ladies Final against Dromahair takes place on Sunday at 2.30pm in Drumshanbo. Your support would be appreciated at all games.
