Martin Moran Day
Keep Saturday 26th July next free in your diary. Kiltubrid GAA will host a day in memory of our former comrade, player and friend, Martin Moran RIP.  All are invited to attend with the day starting off with a get-together and refreshments at 10:45am. A number of underage Blitzes will throw in at 11am.  A full inteneary of the day’s events will be published next week.

Fixtures & results
We had a disappointing result in league division 2 away to Ballinagleara last Saturday evening when we were defeated on a score line of 2-06 to 0-10. Hopefully we can get a better result this Saturday at home in Kltubrid, where Cloone are the opposition with a 7:30 pm throw in.
Well done to our Kiltubrid ladies who commenced the 2014 championship on Sunday with a single point win against Mohill. Next up Kiltubrid ladies play Dromahaire on Sunday next at 12 noon in Drumshanbo.
Our Under 14 team got their championship off on in style on Monday evening when we travelled to Manorhamilton and came away with a deserved win.  The final score line being 4- 14 to 6-5. Next we host Melvin Gaels at home in Kiltubrid on this Friday evening with a 7 pm throw in.

Underage Coaching
Parents are reminded that Coaching for underage CONTINUES each Saturday morning from 10 to 11 am throughout the summer period.

5 KM Run /Walk this Saturday
For those feeling up to it on Saturday afternoon there will be  a 5 K run/ walk starting in Drumshanbo at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon.  This is a nice flat route for anyone looking for challenge and is also a nice handy local event. The event starts from Scollans Gala at 3 pm, however you should arrive well before 3pm to register beforehand. All proceeds going towards the local St John’s Church of Ireland, Drumshanbo restoration fund and your support would be greatly appreciated.
