Fixtures  & Results
The minor team got back to winning ways in a blustery Annaduff last Saturday morning.  Our lads came away with a deserved win on a score line of 6-13 to 1-5.  Training for minors continues on Tuesday evening at 7pm all players to on the pitch by this time.  We are due to play either Gortletteragh or Dromahair next but please check the fixture list elsewhere for details of this week’s game.
The under 14 team are due to start the 2014 season this coming Saturday away to Bornacoola, again please check the fixture list elsewhere for confirmation of this game.

Underage Training 2014
Underage football coaching for all boys aged 5 to 10 starts next Saturday morning from 10  to 11 am on the main pitch.  The ladies section of the club will also be running a separate training session for all underage girls on the training pitch. Can parents ensure that all children come with suitable warm clothing, a mouthguard, a bottle of water and lots of energy; the coaches will try their best to supply the fun.  Any parent who is available to help please let a coach know on the morning, you don’t need a football background to be a good coach.  Patience & a sense of fun are the most important skills you will need.  All children who participate must have registered beforehand.  This can be paid on the morning and costs €20 for the entire year.

Training Pitch Works
This Thursday evening we are planning to carry out some essential repair work to the training pitch.  If you have an hour or two to spare please drop by at 6 pm.  The training pitch is closed to ALL teams on the day due to this essential work. Please make alternative arrangements if you had a planned training session. Also note the main pitch should not be used as an alternative training facility on the Night.

Pitch use
There is currently a high demand for the training pitch.  Please check that this pitch is available for your proposed training times, don’t just turn up and expect some other team to share.  It is vital that all coaches make sure that your sessions start and finish within at the allocated time.  The main pitch is not to be used for training sessions.  If you are using the lights on either pitch please ensure that you turn off same when finished and always check that generator had sufficient fuel beforehand.

Scor Sinsear
The Mayflower, Drumshanbo was the venue for the County final of Scor Sinsear on Saturday night last.  Our club was proudly represented by Orla McGourty in Solo Singing and Alan Clarke, Declan Tivnan, John Shanley and Orla McGourty in the Ballad Group.  A great nights entertainment was had by all.  Best of luck to all the County finalists in Scor Sinsear Chonnacht in Tubbercurry on 22nd March.

Membership & Garda Vetting
Please note that any player or coach who has not paid club membership by the end of the month will not be covered as a member of the club.  You should not attend training or participate in any club games until membership is paid.  All coaches, team managers and club officials should ensure that they have their Garda vetting certificate in place by the end of the month.

Get Well
Best wishes and a speedy recovery to under 16 team coach, Frank McLoughlin after his recent surgery.

Leitrim
Well done to Leitrim on another fine win in Wicklow.  Next Saturday we travel to Waterford, should we get a result there we can then start to mention the P word with a degree of hopeful anticipation.

Leitrim Supporters Tickets
The Leitrim GAA supporters tickets are now on sale from various club officers. Someone from the club may be calling with you in within the next fortnight or so. Please consider purchasing one. With Leitrim climbing towards a possible promotion there is good reason to show your support by purchasing a Supporters ticket. If at all possible can you buy your ticket from a Kiltubrid club member, rather than outside the parish. As usual there is wide range of decent prizes for all members entered in the draw. Tickets are priced at €40.00.
