Fixturea & Results
On Friday night under lights in Cloone, we were beaten by a better Aughnasheelin side in the 2014 division 4 league final.  In a poor encounter, Aughnasheelin made the most of every opportunity while Kiltubrid wasted umpteen chances.  We led by 0-6 to 0-5 at half time. However in a poor second half with countless missed scoring opportunities, we failed to score for 20 minutes. Ultimately this scoring drought proved very costly as Aughnasheelin came from behind and edged in front with a number of points. Aughnasheelin then carved out a commanding lead when they grabbed a well taken opportunistic goal midway in the second half.  With Kiltubrid failing to take our chances Aughnasheelin held out for a deserved win with 4 points to spare. The final score being; Kiltubrid 0-7, Aughnasheeelin 1-8.

The under 16s continued their 2014 championship campaign with a good win away on Friday evening in Glenfare against Glen Gaels.  With the final score;  Kiltubrid  7-7, Glen Gaels 2-5.  Check the fixtures list for confirmation on this week’s under 16 game.

The under 12 team lost away to Melvin Gaels in Kinlough last Monday.  We are due to play Allen Gaels in Kiltubrid on this Monday evening at 7 pm.

County Minor Final
The Kiltubrid minor team play in the championship final this Sunday, October 5th in Pairc Sean at 1:30 pm.  We wish the panel and management all the best.  Our game is the curtain raiser to the Intermediate Final so hopefully this should draw a sizeable crowd.  There is a limited amount of club merchandise for sale in shops in the parish.  We hope to see all our loyal supporters turn out to cheer the team decked in the red and greed.
